If you wish to work directly with me for fully mastered MP3 audio files…follow these steps…
Contact me - with the length of the book, word count, genre, preferred timeline and anything else I should know. I will get back in touch with any further queries, estimated delivery date and estimated final length of the audiobook. My usual pace is around 8,200-8,500 words per hour but this can vary depending on content. I can provide a 3-5 minute audition sample if required at this point. If happy to proceed you will send me your final manuscript. Your manuscript must be fully edited, proofed and free of any errors. Please ensure you are entirely happy with it prior to sending it to me as editing and proofing carries a separate professional fee
15-Minute Checkpoint- I will send you the first 15 minutes to confirm that you’re happy with the narration style. This is your chance to feedback and give additional characterisation notes and direction. Once approved by you, a 25% deposit of the estimated final payment with be required
Confirmation- We agree on a delivery date and you provide any additional direction
Final Delivery- Once complete, I will send you approximately 90% of the files. The credits, retail sample and final part of the book will be delivered upon receipt of the remaining payment.
My rate is 250GBP (PFH)per finished hour
There is around 6 hours of reading prep, annotation, recording time, editing and mastering by a sound engineer to every finished hour
